[mp3DirectCut Language File] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Language: Generic/English Composer: Martin Pesch Version: 2.14 Update: 2011-12-06 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- IMPORTANT INFORMATIONS FOR TRANSLATORS ---------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the english template file. If you want to write or update a translation, please note these things: o You should contact the author first, to make sure that not another one is already working on the same thing. Otherwise it cannot be guaranted that your translation will be published. o Your real name is needed in the "Composer" field above (may be together with an email address or website if you want). o If you update an existing file, please use the language file of the latest distribution as base, because even without translation of the updated parts, the files might have been adapted to the newer program version. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- CHANGES AND ADDITIONS ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Version 2.05: item changed: men023=&Undo Ctrl+Z new item: dlg067=Keep Lame data in Xing headers Version 2.06: new item: men028 cosmetically changed: men036 - men041 new items: men046-men049 new items: men074-men079 Version 2.07: new item: men068=&New program window Version 2.08: removed item: men057 changed items: win023, men012, dlg049, dlg067 new items: msg009, msg028, msg034, msg035, msg036, msg037 new items: cfg006, cfg050, cfg051, cfg055, cfg056 Version 2.09: new item: dlg055 Version 2.10: changed item: dlg011 (inserted: "#%M = Maximum track number") changed items: cfg028, cfg030 new items: cfg036, cfg053, cfg054, msg038 Version 2.11: new items: men069, msg039, dlg018, cfg046 new items: dlg070-dlg087, win032-win034 changed items: ttp015-ttp019, dlg021, cfg037 removed item: dlg057 (double) Version 2.12: changed items: men012, men33, dlg61, cfg051, msg039, dlg083 new items: men57, cfg057, cfg058, cfg059, msg023, msg040 Version 2.13: removed item: msg036 new items: msg041, cfg052, cfg011, ttp025-ttp039 changed items: men027, men042, men044, msg033, msg034, cfg051, cfg057 Version 2.14: removed items: men036-men041, men074-men079, men046-048, msg040 changed items: ttp038-ttp039, dlg007, msg041 new items: men029, msg042 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- TRANSLATION AND SHORTCUT NOTES ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You should not translate technical terms like "Cue sheet", "header", "frame"..., if in your language the english expression is used normally. Please be sure to keep the same keyboard shortcuts for the "win"-button area. E.g. for "win007=&Edit" the shortcut must always be "e". If the word doesn't contain an "e" in your language, you must leave out the "&" or set an "&e" besides the word. In the menus you can choose the fast access letters on your own, but each underlined letter in a menu may appear only once. The shortcuts on the other hand are even fixed in the menus. Example: &Open Ctrl+O "&Open" can be changed to "Op&en". The O in "Ctrl+O" must not be changed. Items beginning with ### are comments and not needed to be translated. Even normal text (like this) will be ignored by the program. If an item is not present in the language file, the program uses the default english text. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Menus ---------------------------------------------------------------------- men000=&File men001=&Edit men002=S&pecial men003=&List men004=&Settings men005=&? men010=&Open... Other grabbing speeds (0.5-2.0x) are possible: Adjust original and recording speeds in the fields.##Encoding with at least 44.1 kHz is recommended.##For best results this feature is not recommended at all, because of the resampling distortions. msg034=Important: Project and Cue sheet files do NOT contain audio data.##A Project file stores all edit informations (cuts etc.) while it only links to the corresponding audio files. It usually cannot be opened by other programs.##A Cue sheet contains track names and index times and can be read by some programs (e.g. players, CD burn programs, audio editors).##AND: The shortcut Ctrl+S saves the project, not the audio! msg035=Important! Please note that mp3DirectCut does not show the real waveform audio data in the edit graph.##What you see is direct MPEG audio data which contains only higher frequencies in most cases. It can also be too high or too low and sometimes show nothing at all.##Use the edit graph for navigation and editing. The correct audio level is shown while play in the vu meter on the right. msg037=Audio parameters do not match.#Insertion and destination must have#the same samplerate and stereo mode. msg038=Please note: Opening or saving a Cue sheet for an MP3 with VBR (variable bitrate) can take some seconds. The complete audio file must be scanned to get the correct cue positions.##The times shown in mp3DirectCut slightly differ from the real cue times. It's recommended to activate the "Use 'TOC' correction on VBR" option. msg039=Please note: The rules for Autocue, Pause detection, Split and Simple fade (Gain) must be set in the normal program environment.##Splitting multiple files (Pause detection, Autocue) requires a variable for generating unique filenames: %F is highly recommended! It is set by default and can be adjusted in dialog for Save split. msg041=The length of the audio file has been changed, or the audio contains multiple sources.##The cues will have different positions in the original audio file.##Proceed?##(Note: To associate the Cue sheet to the cut version of the audio, save the audio first and then the Cue sheet.) msg042=NOTE: Cue sheets are still saved in ANSI text format.##If the audio file name is in Unicode, it might be necessary to adjust the file name or edit and convert the Cue sheet into Unicode with e.g. Notepad.
