Maak kennis met de snelste en de meest geavanceerde videobewerkingssoftware ter wereld, CyberLink PowerDirector. CyberLink PowerDirector wordt compleet geleverd met de meest geavanceerde en gebruikersvriendelijke functies om professionele videoproducties te maken. Bovendien biedt het Smart Video Rendering Technology (SVRT) en is het geoptimaliseerd voor NVIDIA CUDA-technologie, AMD Accelerated Parallel Processing-technologie, Intel Core-processors en AMD multi-core centrale verwerkingseenheden. Door het gebruik van deze technologieën kunt u met CyberLink PowerDirector uw filmprojecten voltooien zonder kwaliteitsverlies, en sneller dan om het even welk ander softwareprogramma. CyberLink PowerDirector bevat ook een indrukwekkend reeks Magic Tools waarmee u uw film snel en uitgebreid kunt bewerken.

Gebruik de functie onlineregistratie om uw software te registreren. U moet uw software registreren om klantenondersteuning te krijgen en productupdate-informatie te ontvangen.
Voor u CyberLink PowerDirector installeert moet u mogelijk uw systeemelementen controleren voor optimale prestaties.
Om de meeste comptabiliteitskwesties te vermijden moet u alle andere software en toepassingen sluiten, met inbegrip van virusscanners en software voor expresberichten.
Om de beste prestaties van video-opname te bereiken moet u de DMA-instellingen van uw harde schijf controleren. Onderzoek de eigenschappenpagina van Mijn computer of Computer voor de instellingenlijst van hardware.
Smart Video Rendering Technology (SVRT): SVRT presteert het best als de videofragmenten van uw project dezelfde opnamebestandsindeling hebben.
MPEG-2 video bewerkingkwesties: de Microsoft Windows-besturingssystemen bevatten geen MPEG-2 decoderingsmechanisme voor het afspelen van video. Als op uw systeem eerder andere dvd- of MPEG-2-software voor het afspelen of bewerken van video’s was geïnstalleerd, kan het MPEG-2-mechanisme voor het afspelen van een video conflicten veroorzaken met het mechanisme dat met CyberLink PowerDirector wordt geleverd. Als CyberLink PowerDirector bij het importeren van MPEG-2-videobestanden met problemen wordt geconfronteerd, probeer dan de installatie van andere MPEG-2-softwaretoepassingen voor het afspelen of bewerken van video’s ongedaan te maken. Als het probleem blijft bestaan kunt u de meest gestelde vragen (FAQ) raadplegen op de website van CyberLink. U kunt ook contact opnemen met de klantendienst van CyberLink.
Microsoft DirectX® 9 runtime bibliotheek moet vooraf worden geïnstalleerd. CyberLink PowerDirector vereist dat Microsoft DirectX® 9 runtime-blibliotheek in uw systeem is geïnstalleerd als voorwaarde voor een goede werking van bepaalde CyberLink PowerDirector-functies. Het CyberLink PowerDirector CD-installatieprogramma installeert automatisch de DirectX 9 runtime-bibliotheek. Als u echter de downloadversie koopt of gebruikmaakt van de gratis proefversie, moet u deze module downloaden van de Microsoft-website of van andere websites. Microsoft DirectX® 9 is ook beschikbaar op de Microsoft DirectX® 9-downloadpagina op de Microsoft-website: http://www.microsoft.com.
OHCI-ondersteuning (Open Host Controller Interface): CyberLink PowerDirector ondersteunt de OHCI-standaard en voorziet Microsoft Windows zo van een gestandaardiseerde manier van interactie met de IEEE1394-poort of I/O-kaart, zodat het niet nodig is om bijkomende stuurprogramma’s te installeren bij het vastleggen van een DV-video met CyberLink PowerDirector-software.
Harde-schijfvereisten bij het gebruik van non real-time DV vastleggen: CyberLink PowerDirector gebruikt de harde schijf als bufferruimte om de DV-inhoud te transcoderen die u vastgelegd hebt in MPEG-1/MPEG-2 bestanden. Zorg voor voldoende vrije ruimte op de vaste schijf voor u non real-time DV gaat vastleggen.
In bepaalde situaties kan het enige tijd duren voordat CyberLink PowerDirector de SVRT-instellingen detecteert voor de productie van een lang filmproject. Dit komt mogelijk doordat het videobestand is opgesplitst in veel fragmenten door scènedetectie of door handmatige splitsing. Als dat het geval is, wacht u tot SVRT-detectie is afgerond.
DV/QuickScan compatibiliteit: sommige DV-merken vertonen compatibiliteitsproblemen met de QuickScan-functie in de vastlegmodus. Dit kan worden veroorzaakt doordat het DV-terugspoelmechanisme op verschillende DV-modellen nogal uiteenloopt. We raden onze klanten ten stelligste aan om het advies in de QuickScan Waarschuwing op te volgen. De DV-tape mag bijvoorbeeld geen lege ruimte hebben in het midden van een opname. Als uw DV de functie QuickScan niet goed kan uitvoeren, moet u de video vastleggen met de gewone knoppen voor opnemen en stoppen.
MicroMV vastleggen wordt ondersteund in CyberLink PowerDirector 9, behalve in DV QuickScan en tijdens de detectie van scènes per tijdcode-onderbreking.
Vooruitspoelen met voorbeeldweergave wordt niet ondersteund in de indeling Windows Media Video (WMV). U ziet het afspelen van de video in 1X, zelfs als u op de knop vooruitspoelen klikt.
Sluit andere audio-weergavesoftware af (zoals de Media Player of Winamp) als u video/audio-signalen opneemt van tv of cd-rom, dit kan resulteren in het ontbreken van geluid of in ruis op de vastgelegde fragmenten.
Tijdens het bijsnijden is de video die u ziet in het videovenster of de Media Viewer het origineel zonder andere effecten (bijvoorbeeld aanpassing van kleur of beeldsnelheid). Schakel over naar de filmmodus om het resultaat te bekijken met alle effecten.
HDV write-back, CyberLink PowerDirector ondersteunt momenteel enkel Sony HDR-FX1, HDR-HC1 en HDR-HC3. Voor nieuwe HDV-modellen, controleert u op toekomstige patches door te klikken op de knop “Controleer upgrade”, of bezoek de website van CyberLink voor updates.
Kan installatie niet voltooien omdat QuickTime niet geïnstalleerd werd, in bepaalde situaties kan CyberLink PowerDirector 9 niet geïnstalleerd worden omdat de vorige stap van de QuickTime-installatie niet voltooid werd. Dit kan te wijten zijn aan het feit dat er andere codecs van derden zijn die QuickTime geïnstalleerd hebben met alternatieve codecs zoals de Storm Codec of het K-Lite Codec Pakket. We raden aan dat u de installatie van deze codecpakketten ongedaan maakt en de officiële Apple QuickTime 7 Player installeert. Nadat QuickTime geïnstalleerd is, probeert u CyberLink PowerDirector 9 opnieuw te installeren.
Kan CyberLink PowerDirector 9 niet installeren omwille van het opnieuw starten tijdens installatie, als u uw systeem opnieuw start tijdens de installatie van CyberLink PowerDirector 9 is het mogelijk dat u het programma de volgende keer niet correct kunt installeren. Als dit gebeurt wist u handmatig alle bestanden met de extensie .ipi in de map C:\Windows\Installer op uw systeem en probeert u CyberLink PowerDirector 9 opnieuw te installeren. Als u niet zeker weet hoe u de .ipi kunt reinigen, neemt u contact op met de klantenondersteuning van CyberLink.
Opneembare schijfselectie in DV Back-up, het is belangrijk om er altijd voor te zorgen dat de schijfcapaciteit groot genoeg is voor uw DV-tape. Plaats bijvoorbeeld uw DV-tape in SP-modus maar niet in LP-modus als u slechts een beschrijfbare dvd van 4.7 GB (DVD+/-R/RW) hebt. Als u een back-up probeert te maken van een tape die langer is dan de opneembare DVD kan opnemen, kan het zijn dat de functie DV Back-up deze niet goed uitvoert.
Afhankelijk van de bestandsindeling is het mogelijk dat scènedetectie niet even nauwkeurig werkt op bepaalde fragmenten als op andere. Mogelijk moet u de scènes handmatig splitsen in het dialoogvenster scènedetectie.
Het gebruik van meervoudige PiP-tracks vereist een hoge prestatie van uw computer en het is mogelijk dat PiP-objecten niet vlot weergegeven worden. Een kwalitatief hoogstaande computer is aanbevolen bij het gebruik van meervoudige PiP-tracks
Wanneer u aangepaste sjablonen uploadt naar DirectorZone worden alle 4:3 menusjablonen geconverteerd naar 16:9 na uploaden. Aangepaste PiP-objecten, schijfmenu en titelsjablonen mogen geen video bevatten als ze naar DirectorZone worden geüpload.

We raden u aan om voldoende computerbronnen beschikbaar te hebben voor u van start gaan met HD-video’s. Omdat de omvang van een HD-video 4 keer groter kan zijn dan een normale DV-video vereist HD-video een krachtige computer voor een vlotte bewerking. Zie de Systeemvereisten voor meer informatie.
De onderstaande systeemvereisten zijn minimaal aanbevolen voor algemeen digitaal videoproductiewerk.

IEEE 1394 lijst compatibiliteit vastlegapparaten: CyberLink PowerDirector DV video capture modules gebruiken het Microsoft Windows-stuurprogramma. De IEEE1394 vastlegapparaten moeten voldoen aan de OHCI-standaard. Raadpleeg het gedeelte Product Resource op de pagina PowerDirector van de CyberLink-website voor de meest recente modellenlijst.
